This 25 image montage shows off the diverse US combat aircraft utilized during Operation Desert Storm of 1991. In 1990, Iraq invaded its neighboring country of Kuwait. Operation Desert Storm was initiated on 17 January 1991, with the aerial bombing campaign against Iraq. All military services of the United States was involved. The American-led Liberation of Kuwait ended on 28 February 1991.
